ALA Development Camps

2024 Camp Initiatives

The ALA Technical Team will travel to all LGBs throughout the province, offering day camps based on technical initiatives, and LGB needs, based on collaboration with Presidents and Executive Directors. 

The U13 Development Camp returns for a second year of this iteration, this year condensing into one day, with a focus on offensive fundamentals and team skills. Current and potential coaches are encouraged to attend and interact on the floor throughout the day. There will be two 90-minute practice sessions for players and two additional coach sessions between practices. All sessions will be held on the floor, and coaches will be provided additional coaching resources and instruction. 

The second day of development will vary based on LGB needs. It will be opened up to more age groups of players while still offering coaches to attend for additional information and tutelage from the Technical Team. 

Day One: U13 Development Camp

Open to players and coaches

*PD points available

**Players on floor for practices only. Coaches on floor for practices and coach sessions.

Day Two: ALA Development Camp

Open to players and coaches.

Camp details determined by LGB need.

*Goalie camps will have openings for shooters.

Players, ALA Members - $25
**For players 11 and 12 years old, and who do not turn 13 in 2024.

Coaches, ALA Members - free

CALL is excited to share the sport of lacrosse with all females ages 10-16 in Central Alberta 

This is a FREE EVENT to take place  in January at the Collicut Center in Red Deer

U11-U13 January 15,22,29 700-800pm

U15-U17 January 15,22,29 800-900pm

Central Alberta CO-ED Box Lacrosse Camp!!

CALL has enlisted a few of our top coaches to help our players continue to develop

We will be looking for opportunities to host exhibition games through out the winter months.

When: Every Sunday and Wednesday evening starting October 1st and running until the end of January

Where: Collicut Centre in Red Deer 

Who: All male and female players U11-U17

Fee: $350.00 per player includes pinnie

Goalie Fee: $250.00 per goalie includes small goalie gift
