About the Alberta Summer Games

The Alberta Summer Games (ASG) bring together the province’s top U15 athletes for a multi-sport event celebrating skill, teamwork, and community. Zone 4 represents Central Alberta — Red Deer, Lacombe, Blackfalds, Sylvan Lake, Ponoka, Rimbey, Stettler, and surrounding areas.


Who Can Try Out?

Athletes must:

  • Be born in 2012 or 2013 (U15 eligible).

  • Reside within Zone 4 boundaries.

  • Be registered for the 2026 box lacrosse season with their home club.

  • Attend scheduled tryouts.

Both a U15 Coed and U15 Female team will be selected.

Collicutt Centre, Red Deer

Time:
7:00-8:00 PM

Cost:
$75.00 Tryout Fee

Registration:
Opens on January 15th on the CALL website. REGISTER HERE

Attendance:
Athletes are expected to attend all sessions where possible.


Coaching Applications

CALL is accepting applications for:

  • Head Coach

  • Assistant Coach

  • Trainer / Chaperone

Applicants must meet ALA requirements (NCCP, Safe Sport, CRC/VSC).

Selection & Commitment

Selected athletes must:

  • Attend all team practices and preparation sessions.

  • Follow Team Alberta and Safe Sport standards.

  • Commit to the 2026 Alberta Summer Games (Strathcona July 16-19th).

Zone 4 teams are supported by CALL in partnership with the Alberta Lacrosse Association.
