U17 playoff weekend will be hosted in Lacombe for the 2025 season
Overtime Procedure:
If a game ends in a tie, the teams will be given a 5-minute break, followed by a 15-minute sudden victory period with a faceoff. If the game is still tied, another 5-minute break will be taken, followed by an additional 15-minute sudden victory period. This process will repeat until a winner is determined.
Game Lengths:
All game lengths will follow ALA Standard Game Length regulations.
Game Sheets:
To keep the schedule as current as possible, all game sheets must be scanned and emailed immediately following the game to:

This is the responsibility of both the home and away teams.
Website Entry:
Game results must be entered on the website immediately after the game by the home team and verified by the visiting team within 30 minutes of game completion.
White Copies:
White copies of the game sheets must be dropped off at the host table in the lobby by the home team.

Ball Policy:
No balls are permitted in or around the facility except during game time on the floor. Confiscated balls will not be returned. Players may be suspended from the next game for violations.
Facility Damage:
Any damage or willful intent to damage property will result in costs being charged to the offending club. The club will be suspended from all future CALL games/tournaments until payment is received. Offending players will be suspended for the remainder of playoffs.
Zero Tolerance Policy:
Physical or verbal abuse from players or fans will not be tolerated. The referee will stop the game (but not the clock), and the home team will be required to remove the offender, regardless of team affiliation.
The rink manager or a CALL executive may also remove abusive spectators.
Police may be contacted as an early course of action.
Affiliate Players:
All teams must attend with their regular rosters. Any affiliate players must be approved in advance by the CALL President and/or Executive Director, as per CALL Affiliate Regulation 12.
Warm-Up Balls:
The home team will supply warm-up balls.
Minor Officials:
The home team must supply 2 minor officials.
The visiting team must also supply 2 minor officials.
Roles include: Scorekeeper, Timekeeper, 30-second timer, and Penalty box operators (max of 5 in the box).
Scorekeepers must indicate Power Play (PP) and Short-Handed (SH) goals.
Officials must be in position at the start of warm-up.
Teams without minor officials will be assessed a 2-minute delay of game penalty.
Volunteer officials must remain impartial. Misconduct will be addressed by on-floor officials.
Referee Authority:
All referee decisions are final.
Game Start Delays:
Teams not ready to start or resume play will be assessed a 2-minute delay of game penalty.
If not ready after 5 minutes, the game will be forfeited.
A delay of game penalty in the final 2 minutes of play will result in a penalty shot being awarded to the non-offending team (LC Rule).
