Playoff format


STANDINGS FOR PLAYOFFS

Final standing for each division will be determined as per CALL Regulation 8

8.01 The CALL champions in each division shall be the winner of the CALL Championship Tournament

8.01.1 In the event of a tie, the final standing shall be determined by:
First: Team with the greater number of wins finishes ahead
Second: Team record against eachother;
Third: Goals for and against between the ties teams. Team with the highest ratio finishes ahead;
Fourth: Goals for and against ratio between each other plus common opponents. Team with the highest ratio finishes ahead;
Fifth; Team with the lowest penalty minutes finishes ahead

PLAYOFF FORMAT

U7 and U9 Wind Up Festival

June 22-23

 
Host will require two floors
All teams will play exhibition games
 
 

U11 Playoff Weekend

June 14-16th

 
13 Teams or less and the top 6 will compete for banner the bottom teams play consolation games

14 Teams or more and the top 8 will compete for banner the bottom teams play consolation games

Host: Clubs may apply to CALL to host (will require two floors)

Cost:

         Central Alberta Lacrosse will reimburse the hosting club for all playoff floor

         Central Alberta Lacrosse will pay for all officials and RIC for playoff weekends

         Central Alberta Lacrosse will cover the cost of GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE medals and banner for the winning team

 

ALRA (CALL) are to use this as a way to build moral amongst the young officials. As Referee retention is an issue this is a way to encourage them to stay officiating.

 

U13 Playoff Weekend

June 21-23rd

13 Teams or less and the top 6 will compete for banner the bottom teams play consolation games

14 Teams or more and the top 8 will compete for banner the bottom teams play consolation games
